Sony and Panasonic Jointly Developing Beefy 300 GB Optical Discs

Two of Japan's biggest purchaser gadgets contenders —Sony and Panasonic —are uniting to advance cutting edge optical discs that pack 300 GB of information. 

The organizations proclaimed Monday that they expect to together broaden their "document business for enduring computerized information space." Sony and Panasonic want to improve an optical disc that can record no less than 300 GB by the end of 2015.
